Welcome to Sycamore Academy.

20 years have passed since the days of the Whisper Hills kids. Now well out of their teens and steadily into their thirties, every member of the 'old gang' has had a child. The members of the old gang have kept riding, and now their children are the same age as their parents were 20 years ago. These teenagers, the offspring of the most talented riders in the country, are at the top when it comes to teenage riding. They have been sent here, to Sycamore Riding Academy, the most advanced and prestigious riding school in the country, to become the best riders in the world.

These kids are the elite. And this is cutthroat competition.

To my WH folk, I love you all dearly and this is for you.
To any new members, welcome to the WH family and we hope you like it here.
Basically this site is a follow-on of the original WHISPER HILLS.
[Discreet advertising there, haha. GO JOIN NOW!]
Now, on to the serious stuff. ;]
These are the rules.
Everyone knows them.
Everyone hates reading them.
But please do, because it will save me stabbing you with a spork as I am prone to do if you break the all-sacred rules.
So before you start posting your application, please take a few minutes to read the lovely rules.

{ GENERAL RULES.


  • I'LL ALLOW SWEARING..
    this isn't really anything i've had a major problem with. it can be a good way of expressing yourself. =/ sometimes all you wanna do is say shit. you might feel a lot better! =D i know, i'm not setting a very good example. but whatever. so, swear. don't do it all the time, but don't be afraid to. it's not all that classy/nice/friendly, but i won't bug you for it.

  • RESPECT ALL MEMBERS ..
    all members are equal, including staff. so i expect everyone to play nicely. no nasty comments, no racism, etc. i don't expect this to happen, so don't disappoint me, okay?

  • ACTIVITY ..
    if there's one thing every admin hates, it's hit-and-run members. you know the type - join, but never post. it's the most annoying thing in the world. please, please, please stay active and reply to all activity checks or you will be deleted.

  • THE BIRDS && THE BEES ..
    listen up. this is about sexual content and the like. if there is any suggestion then please mark your thread with an 'R'. this gives people the choice of whether they want to view it or not. sexual content can be offensive, so please, take heed. if anyone has a problem with the 'R' content, then i'm sorry, but in order to be realistic as possible, you have to allow that sort of stuff. be mature about it. that's life, it happens, if you don't like it then i suggest you don't read it.

  • NO INAPPROPRIATE CONTENT ..
    no porn, etc. is allowed. you'll be banned instantly.

  • NO COPYING ..
    DO NOT copy anyone's plot titles/names/charrie stuff. it's the most annoying thing in the world, so to protect everyone's stuff, everything on TSG is copyrighted to it's owner. if you're caught copying, you'll be straight out banned. you should have your own ideas, not other peoples'.

  • NO GOD-MODING ..
    god-moding is basically power-playing. it means making someone else's character do something they didn't actually write. it's really annoying and you will be severely warned.

  • RULES CAN CHANGE ..
    please keep up-to-date with the rules as they will change.




{ HORSES.


  • THE BASICS ..
    - all breeds welcome, but no unicorns, pegusi, etc.
    - six horse limit for each character.
    - no abuse or neglect of the horses.
    - horses must be taken to the vet and farrier regularly.
    - each horse has an equal opportunity to win.

  • HORSE LIMITS ..
    when you first start at TSG, you are allowed to create one horse. after that, every post you make adds up until you reach a certain level. Each level has it's own limit of horses. when you go up a level, you get another horse.
    - New rider = 1 horse limit + the horse you get upon joining.
    - Junior rider = 3 horse limit.
    - Intermediate rider = 4 horse limit.
    - Senior rider = 5 horse limit.
    - Champion rider = 6 horse limit.
    this rule is now abolished. the new horse limit rule is, every character has a limit of six horses. that's EACH character. you can have up to six horses all the time, no matter what your postage amount is.

  • PURCHASING ..
    horses may be purchased from starlight animal adoption, any auctions at the western ranch, the password is fetish for tacky gold pants, bought from the sales barn or created by the owner. please stick to the limits. if you no longer want a horse, please put it up for sale in the sales barn.

  • BREEDING ..
    - stallions must be 3 years or older.
    - mares must be 4 years or older.
    - you can breed all year round.
    - no graphic breeding or foaling.
    - mare is pregnant for at least 5 real-life days.



    { CHARACTERS.


  • THE BASICS ..
    - no perfect charries; they are uber annoying and everyone hates them.
    - be realistic. no supermodel looks and none of this bloody changing eye color crap.
    - try to keep goths, emos, etc. to a minimum.
    - NO HORSE/RIDER PARTNERSHIPS WHERE THE HORSE WILL ONLY RESPOND TO THE RIDER AND IS DEFENSIVE TO EVERYONE ELSE. THIS IS NOT ONLY UNREALISTIC BUT THE MOST ANNOYING THING IN THE ENTIRE WORLD AND I WILL EAT YOUR FACE IF YOU DO THIS. GOT IT?


    { MISCELLANEOUS.


  • USER LIMITS ..
    - one account per member. you don't need any more.
    - 6 charrie limit per member.
    - you may have any username you want.
